Meriele grew up in Brooklyn and Staten Island, composing her first song, “You’re My Friend” at 13, and her class sang it at graduation. For college, she attended School of Visual Arts where she learned protools. She studied composition at The Manus School of music.
Meriele composed music, sang, and played bass with the bands Baby’s Gonna Be, and Lava. They played in New York City at The Bottom Line, Continental, Orange Bear, Lion’s Den, Don Hills, and Sidewalk Cafe. They played college shows and performed in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and the band’s guitars were sponsored by Epiphone.
Meriele played piano shows out of college at The Cutting Room and Sidewalks. Her music was used in the student film “Letting Go”. She recorded at Uptime Studios and Night Owl Studios in New York. She started the band Little Lamb where she wrote the music, was lead singer and guitarist from 2001-2004. They played Don Hill’s and Continental regularly.
Meriele moved to San Antonio where she turned to digital music production and wrote songs for film. Her song “Life” made it into the indie film Tarantella. Back in New York, Meriele played piano shows at sidewalks, cutting room, and The City & The Heart XIV :: Independent Women's Music Showcase New York at the Parkside Lounge.
In 2014-2019 Meriele wrote and produced the musical Tempo. In 2017, she studied voice with Steven Schnurman. In 2020, she wrote and produced the opening music for the show WHEELHOUSE on Spotify, and won a Telly award.
In 2025 she recorded an album with producer Rob Chiarappa. She released “Welcome To Paradise”,“Radiate”, and is set to release her debut album in March 2026.
Meriele has performed in New Jersey at Matawan Day 2023-2025, has perfomed at Hailey’s in Metuchen, and Killmeyers in Staten Island.
Meriele’s team at Nautical Media is booking shows and doing PR to promote her new single and upcoming album.
